Bloodleaf was my favorite novel of 2019 so it was no surprise that I was going to love Greythorne, but honestly I am obsessed and I need to know what is going to happen next. It has been a few days since I've finished Greythrone and I am still in complete and utter shock with everything that happened in this novel. *Thank you so much HMH and Netgalley for letting me read and review GREYTHORNE* The full review + more can be found at The Book Bratz Now I have to sit and wait for book 3 to become available. Maybe in the next one I might have a winner but who knows. Yet, I ate it all up.Įven though this is book 2, I honestly don't have a favorite character yet. I wanted, no - needed, to know what was going to happen in this one and what's the deal with the curses? Oh lord so many things were happening for my more pudding brain to catch up. With each twist and turn that came my way, I was just stuck to my seat the entire time. Of course she has a whole set of new problems in this book.

I don't really know what happened in between these two books but she grew on me. Luckily for me, Aurelia was just so much better in this one. Now I thought the first book was just okay and I was a little hesitant to jump into the sequel. I feel like the audio went by so quickly when I was working that I had to double check that it actually ended on me before my brain caught up to it. Greythorne was so freaking easy to devour. Definitely happy that I stuck with this series and now I can't wait for the third book! With the fate of mankind on her shoulders, Aurelia must venture into the heart of the Ebonwilde and face the darkest parts of the forest-and of herself.Įbonwilde is the thrilling conclusion to the epic Bloodleaf series, which Laura Sebastian called “a phantasmagorical wonder” and Sara Holland described as an “eerie, immersive, and fascinating” read.Okay, so the second book was WAY better than the first. Suddenly she finds herself caught in a web of magic, intrigue, passion, and betrayal that stretches across centuries and ultimately reveals that Aurelia is the final piece of a deadly apocalyptic plan that is only days away.Īll Aurelia wants is to reclaim her life and reunite with those she loved and lost but with the end of the world looming, she’s forced to unravel the dark secrets of the distant past before she can get that chance.

When Aurelia awakens from her magic-induced sleep, it is to the face of a rescuer she didn’t expect, in a body she doesn’t understand, and into a world she no longer recognizes.ĭesperate to know what happened to Conrad, Zan, and Kellan after the events at Greythorne Manor, Aurelia follows the threads they left behind straight into the forest. Get ready to be swept away, seduced, and swindled in the wickedly vicious third and final installment in the Bloodleaf series that Laura Sebastian called “enchanting, visceral, and twisty.”
